OKAE-ANTI is a lecturer in the Department of Strategic Communication where he teaches Public Relations, Strategic Communication, Organisational Communication, Communication Skills and Basic Social Statistics. He holds MPhil in Communication and Media Studies (Business Communication option), a bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. He holds professional qualifications in Public Relations and Consulting from the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana and the Ghana Institute of Consulting respectively. He has a total of 12publications (4articles, 4books and 4proposals/policy briefs). He has supervised 18 Master of Arts Theses of which all have received a B grade or higher. Okae-Anti has undertaken external examination assignment at Advanced Business College, AsanSka College of Design and Technology, Academic City University College and BlueCrest College.
On service within and outside the University, Okae-Anti has served as Examinations Officer (Department of Communication and Media Studies); Member, Events Sub-Committee, 25th Anniversary Planning Committee (University of Education, Winneba); Chair, 10th Anniversary Planning Committee (Department of Communication and Media Studies); National Organiser (Linguistics Association of Ghana); Deputy Honorary Secretary (Institute of Public Relations, Ghana). Presently, he is the Faculty Examinations Officer, School of Communication and Media Studies
With regards resource mobilization, Okae-Anti donated $400 to the African Public Relations Association on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the association in 2015; presented 2500Gh towards the "My 25th Anniversary Legacy", a fundraising initiative he conceived and developed for the 25th Anniversary of UEW in 2017; crowdsourced 6000Gh from his Bachelor of Commerce 2006 colleagues and presented same to the University of Cape Coast as it commemorated its 60th anniversary; he also raised 5000Gh from seven CoMSSA Intake 3 mates and used same to paint the School of Communication and Media Studies when it marked its 10th anniversary in 2018.
Okae-Anti's hobbies include reading biographies of famous people, watching football and playing Table Tennis and Badminton. He is married to Nana Ama Adomah Okae-Anti and they have four children, Nana Yaw Akwa, Nana Ama Brepo, Nana Kwabena Anti and Nana Kofi Awuku
