The Golden Age of Public Relations | World Public Relations Day, 2026
The Department of Strategic Communication, University of Education, Winneba (UEW), in collaboration with the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), UEW Student Chapter, will commemorate World Public Relations Day (WPRD) 2026 with a special forum under the global theme, "The Golden Age of PR."
The event will provide a platform for students, communication professionals and members of the University community to explore the evolving role of public relations in an era shaped by digital transformation, artificial intelligence, stakeholder engagement and strategic communication. Participants will gain valuable insights into contemporary trends, industry best practices and the future of the public relations profession.
The programme will feature distinguished speakers, including Prof. Mavis Amo-Mensah, Head of the Department of Strategic Communication, UEW, and Mr. Henry Nii Odottey, APR, Head of Brand, Marketing and Corporate Communication at UBA West Africa. The event will be chaired by Gamor Victor Dzidula, President of the IPR UEW Student Chapter.
