Mrs. Victoria Ghanney is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Clothing and Textiles Education of the Faculty of Home Economics Education of the University of Education, Winneba. She holds a Masters Degree in Clothing Management from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. She is currently on a PhD programme in Arts and Culture in the Department of  Music Education of the University of Education, Winneba and has won an Erasmus Plus International Credit Mobidity Grant at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland in the year 2022. She is currently the Head of the Department of Clothing and Textiles Education from August 1st 2022 to date. She has also served as the Head of the Department of Integrated Home Economics Education from March to July, 2022. She was the Coordinator for the Clothing Production Unit from 2009 to March, 2022. Under my administration I liaised with the Procurement section of the Institution and  procured a number of sewing equipment and tools for the Unit. I also generated a lot of income for the University through sewing of academic gowns and other uniforms for the University and other institutions in Ghana. I lecture courses in Clothing and Textiles education. She has also served on several committees of the University of Education. She has also served as a technical panel member of the National Accreditation Board for Fashion at the Tertiary Institutions. As part of her community service, she is a patron for the Cooperative Dressmakers and Tailors Association, Winneba.
