Bernard Mensah Amoako, PhD, MPhil, B.Ed., is an esteemed Lecturer within the Department of Counselling Psychology at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). He brings a wealth of academic and practical experience to his role, having obtained his Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling from the prestigious University of Education, Winneba, as well as a Diploma in Social Work from the School of Social Work, Accra.
Prior to his tenure at the University of Education, Winneba, Dr. Amoako served as an educator in various basic and senior high schools. Notably, he held a teaching position at Bia Lamplighter College of Education in the Western North region of Ghana.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Amoako is actively involved in the organization and facilitation of workshops focusing on counselling and education. He is a distinguished member of several professional organizations, including the International Society for the Behavioural Development (ISSBD), the Ghana Psychological Association, and holds licensure as a professional with the Ghana Psychology Council, reflecting his commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical practice and professional development within the field.
