Ms. Dankwa, Shirley

Shirley Dankwa is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for African Studies at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW)-Ghana. She holds a B.Ed and MPhil in Arts and Culture. She was among the four experts who were involved in writing both the African and Liberal Studies Curricula for the Four-Year B.Ed Curriculum for the Colleges of Education in Ghana. Her research interest is in Arts and Culture, Curriculum and Instruction in African Studies, Gender and Sexuality Issues, and Dynamics in Courtship and Marriage. She has authored and co-authored dozens of books and peer-reviewed articles. She has also attended and presented papers at international conferences.
