Dr. Forson, Joseph Ato

Dr. Joseph Ato Forson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Finance and Policy Management at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). He holds a PhD in Development Administration with a specialisation in Policy and Management, a Master’s degree in Economics with a focus on Applied Finance, and a bachelor’s degree in Development Planning with an emphasis on Policy Planning.

An accomplished academic, Dr. Forson is a corporate member of the Ghana Institute of Planners (GIP) and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Development Finance (CIDEF). He is also a member of the West Africa Research Association (WARA). His extensive academic journey spans leading institutions, including the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) in Thailand, Xiamen University in China, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana.

With a rich blend of professional affiliations and multidisciplinary expertise, Dr Forson is recognised for his contributions to finance, policy management, and development administration, making him a prominent figure in academia and beyond.
