The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), reaffirmed its commitment to international collaboration as it welcomed a delegation from Germany as part of the ongoing Project Framewalk.

The initiative, which fosters cultural exchange and artistic collaboration, is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UEW, Haduwa Arts and Culture Institute, and a Germany-based Kabawil E. V.

“This partnership has been running for some time now, and as the programme progresses, we are set to renew our MoU to ensure its continuity,” he remarked. Petra Kron, leader of the German delegation, expressed her deep connection with Ghana, recalling her visits dating back to 1987. “I love Ghana; it is a wonderful country. This collaboration with UEW has been an enriching experience for your students, who travelled to Germany last year as part of the exchange,” she shared. She likened the reunion with Ghanaian students to a family gathering, expressing confidence that the final presentation at the Amu Theatre would be memorable.

Kron presented a printed documentation from the 2023 Framewalk Ghana programme, which included insights into past exchanges and collaborations with other African countries. “We always welcome students from different backgrounds to enhance the diversity of our cultural dialogues,” she added.

The visit signifies a key step in UEW's efforts to enhance global partnerships through education and the arts, emphasising its position as a centre for cultural and academic exchange.
