Synopsis
The play is set in the aftermath of a war that has destroyed the Owu Kingdom. The battle was fought between the Owu people and the combined forces of Ife, Oyo, and Ijebu, who invaded Owu and killed all the men and children. The play explores the experiences of the women of Owu, who have been left to pick up the pieces and try to survive in a world torn apart. The women are faced with the trauma of their past, the loss of their loved ones, and the struggle to find a way to move forward in a world that seems determined to destroy them.
