The Department of Theatre Arts, University of Education, Winneba, is pleased to present “Moremi”, a classic tale of courage and sacrifice brought to life on stage.

Synopsis:
In an era marked by relentless Ibo incursions, Moremi rises as a fearless heroine determined to secure her people’s freedom. To gain divine aid, she offers her beloved son, Oluorogbo, to the mighty Esinmerin river goddess. Through steadfast bravery, hidden enemy secrets are unveiled, ensuring lasting liberation for the people of Ile‑Ife.
