Fashion Re-imagined: Innovation with Purpose

The Department of Clothing and Textiles Education of the Faculty of Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education (FHASHE), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), will host a two-day Exhibition and Fashion Show under the theme "Fashion Re-imagined: Innovation with Purpose."

The event is designed to showcase the creativity, technical expertise and innovative fashion solutions developed by students of the Department. It will provide a platform for participants to exhibit original designs, demonstrate contemporary fashion trends and highlight the role of fashion as a catalyst for innovation, sustainability and socio-economic development.

Activities will commence with an Exhibition on Thursday, 16th July, 2026, at the Department of Clothing and Textiles Education, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The exhibition will feature a wide range of student-designed garments, textile innovations and creative works that reflect the Department's commitment to excellence in fashion education.

The programme will culminate in a grand Fashion Show on Friday, 17th July, 2026, at the Winneba Senior High School, starting at 1:00 p.m. The runway showcase will present outstanding collections that embody creativity, craftsmanship and purposeful innovation.

Members of the University community, industry professionals, alumni, prospective students and the general public are warmly invited to attend and experience the talent, ingenuity and transformative potential of fashion education at the University of Education, Winneba.
