Mr. Botchway, a Level 200 Counselling Psychology student at UEW, explained that the donation was motivated by his desire to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of students and the wider University community. He noted that the idea emerged after learning about support extended to the University’s Audiology Centre which inspired him to mobilise resources through his Foundation to support the UEW Hospital.

The Alumni Association commended the Foundation for its generosity and reaffirmed its commitment to fostering partnerships that promote sustainable development and improved welfare within the University.

The initiative highlights the growing culture of service, leadership and collaboration among students, alumni and stakeholders in advancing the development of the University community.
