A Lecturer at the Department of Gur-Gonja Education, Dr. Anthony Agoswin Musah has donated a set of ICT equipment to the College of Languages Education (CoLANGE), Ajumako Campus of the University of Education, Winneba.

This adds to an earlier collection of books he donated to the College when he assumed duty in 2018. The items donated include an HP Laptop, HP colour printer, Lenova Desktop Computer, two-computer hard drives, and other peripheries.

At a short presentation ceremony in Ajumako, Dr. Musah revealed that the donation is the result of an equipment grant worth €10,000 given to him by the German Government under the auspices of its Centre for International Migration (CIM) programme. He recounted that the arrangement was put in place for experts who return to their countries to assist their respective communities after their studies in Germany.

Dr. Musah added that the presentation was the first consignment and that the second batch of equipment which would include projectors and loudspeakers, were yet to arrive.

Receiving the items on behalf of the College, the Principal, CoLANGE, Prof. Ephraim Avea Nsoh described the gesture as remarkable and said the donation was a testimony of good faith. Prof. Avea Nsoh commended Dr. Musah for the donation and promised that the College would put the items to good use to fulfill the purpose of enhancing teaching and learning.

Prof. Avea Nsoh also used the opportunity to encourage all staff to emulate the good works of other colleagues and to continue to write for grants as universities were battling with insufficient IGFs to embark on projects.
