UEW Inaugurates 17-Member Endowment Trust Fund Board
Justice Jacob Charles Amonoo-Monney, Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), on Monday, 13th October, 2025, inaugurated a 17-member Board for the University’s Endowment Trust Fund (ETFB) at the Council Chamber of the University.
The inauguration contributes to strengthening UEW’s financial sustainability and advancing its vision of becoming an internationally reputable institution for teacher education and research.
UEW Holds Workshop to Disseminate Revised Research Policy
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), on Tuesday, 7th October, 2025, held a dissemination workshop on its revised Research Policy at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.
The workshop aimed to share the updated policy framework with members of the University community and enable participants to provide input on its adoption and implementation.

Final-year students of the Community-Based Rehabilitation and Disability Studies (CBRDS) Unit at the Department of Special Education (SPED), University of Education, Winneba (UEW) demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence and community impact with a remarkable donation of 100 specialised chairs and 15 tables to the department.
UEW Holds Workshop to Enhance Capacity for Operational Plan Preparation
The Planning Office of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has organised an intensive workshop series for sections of the University community to build capacity for the preparation of operational plans to align with UEW’s new Corporate Strategic Plan.
The workshop, which began on Tuesday, 23rd September, 2025, and continued through Wednesday, 1st October, 2025, involved faculties, schools and administrative outfits at both the Winneba and Ajumako campuses.
