The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Branch of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC), has organised a high-impact Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme on the theme “Transition Management in Political and Corporate Environment in Ghana: The History, Gains, Challenges and Future Prospects.”

The Department of Applied Linguistics at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), in partnership with the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana, invites participants to enrol in the second session of the Chinese Language Proficiency Course.

Course Details:

First-year students at the University of Education, Winneba, are encouraged to take advantage of the Government’s No-Fees-Stress intervention, facilitated by the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 2nd April, 2025, hosted a high-impact technical training on Green Public Procurement (GPP) at the Registrar’s Conference Room, North Campus, Winneba. 

The event empowered procurement officers, university administrators and facility managers with essential tools to reduce energy consumption and champion Ghana’s path to net-zero emissions.

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Thursday, 8th May 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Chancellor, Neenyi Ghartey VII, to formally introduce the newly appointed Council Chair, Justice Jacob Charles Amonoo-Monney.

The high-level meeting was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, and attended by key management members, including Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete-Mensah, Acting Registrar, and Dr. Theophilus Senyo Ackorlie, Finance Officer.

The Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, inaugurated the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Governing Council, urging integrity, academic freedom and institutional progress.
