UEW Students Impress at International Exhibition with AI-Driven Art

Five third-year students from the Department of Art Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have garnered international recognition for their participation in the 4th International Technical University of Kenya - Exploring Visual Cultures Conference and Exhibition and the Kenya Innovation Week held from 25th to 30th November, 2024.

Notice of Election of UEW Alumni Association Executive Officers

The UEW Alumni Reorganisation Committee, together with the Office for Institutional Advancement (OIA), is pleased to inform University of Education, Winneba (UEW) alumni that the nomination process is now open for the election of Officers who will serve on the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the UEW Alumni Association. 29th Congregation | First Session

The 2024 Graduands of the University of Education, Winneba, and the general public are hereby informed that the First Session of the 29th Congregation for the award of degrees, diplomas, and certificates to Regular, Sandwich and Distance students will be held in-person from Tuesday, December 17, 2024, to Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba, as follows:

UEW Matriculates 256 Sandwich Students, Emphasises Excellence and Responsibility

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has held a matriculation ceremony for 256 sandwich students for the 2023/2024 academic year at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.

The cohort comprises 114 males and 142 females, representing diverse professional backgrounds. The students are enrolled in various academic programmes, including certificate, diploma, post-diploma/bachelor’s degree, and postgraduate programmes.

Newly Appointed COLANG Principal Pays Courtesy Call on Ajumako Omanhene

Prof. (Mrs.) Rebecca Atchoi Akpanglo-Nartey, newly appointed Principal of the College of Languages Education (COLANG) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has paid a courtesy call to the Omanhene of the Ajumako Traditional Council, Okokudurfo Ogyeabour Kwamena Hammah Ababio II. This visit was part of her mission to strengthen ties with key stakeholders.
