Key Components of CBRDS

Health: Ways to improve the health of persons with disabilities through health promotion, prevention, medical care, provision of rehabilitation services, and assistive devices.

Education: Centered on how education can be made inclusive and brought to the doorsteps of persons with disabilities through early childhood, primary, secondary, and higher, non-formal, and lifelong learning.

Livelihood: Focuses on ensuring sustainable income-generating activities for persons with disabilities through skill development, self-employment, wage employment, financial services, and social protection initiatives.

Social: This components seeks to address the inequalities faced by persons with disabilities in society and ensuring meaningful social roles for persons with disabilities through the provision personal assistance, relationships, marriage and family, culture and art, recreation, leisure and sports and access to justice.

Empowerment: It ensures that persons with disabilities have access to development sectors through advocacy and communication, community mobilization, political participation, self-help groups activities, and disabled people activities.
