Community-Based Rehabilitation and Disability Studies - CBRDS
CBRDS is a unit under the Department of Special Education.
The programme highlights strategies within community development for the rehabilitation, equalization of opportunities, poverty reduction, and social inclusion of all persons with disabilities.
Students will be introduced to how to implement the CBR programme through the combined efforts of persons with disabilities themselves, their families and communities, and the appropriate health, education, vocational and social services.
