A former athlete turned academician, Dr. Yayra Kluboito is a Lecturer in the University of Education. Winneba, located in the Central Region of Ghana in West Africa. She had her Bachelor degree in Physical Education from the Department of Health Physical Education and Recreation in the University of Cape Coast in 2012. After the first degree, she pursued a Master’s degree from the same department while serving as a teaching assistant. She completed and was awarded her degree in 2016. Based of experiences gathered, she went on to pursue a PhD in Physical Education focused on Exercise Science, from the University of Cape Coast, also in Ghana.
Having recently obtained her PhD, she is looking forward to conducting meaningful research among athletes and other individuals, regarding physical activity, exercise and how they affect the human body in interaction with every possible external variable that would influence these effects, in a bid to discover ways to make them better for the benefit of the individuals who engage in them. Among her research interests are physical activity and health, exercise physiology, exercise psychology and nutrition. She is an open minded person, always welcoming of new ideas and a quick learner looking forward to great collaborations on her way to becoming the best academician she can be.
