Prof. Benjamin Ghansah is a computer scientist who is passionate about teaching and mentoring young people. He holds a BSc degree in Computer Science, an MSc in Computer Science, and a PhD in Computer Science. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of ICT Education, University of Education, Winneba. He is also the Head of Department, of Agric Science Education and Environmental Science, University of Education, Winneba. Previously, he served as the Vice President at the Data Link Institute of Business and Technology (DLIBT), Academic Dean, Head of, the Department of Computer Science, and Faculty officer at, the Department of Computer Science, DLIBT. Prof. Ghansah has worked as an adjunct lecturer in some prestigious universities both at home and abroad; Jiangsu University, Sikkim Manipal University, University of Ghana, Valley View University, Central University, Ghana Technological University College, and Blue Crest University College. He also serves as an assessor for the computer science department at, the University of Malta, the University of Ghana, the University of Cape Coast, CK Tandem University, Ghana Communication Technology University, Regent University, Presbyterian College of Education, and the Computer Engineering department, at KNUST. He is also an assessment specialist for Oxford, Cambridge RSA (OCR) and International Baccalaureate (IB). Prof Ghansah is currently working on three major projects, the Educase project, the Erasmus+ GOT project and Studiosity ethical AI. Prof Ghansah has for the past 15 years been teaching and conducting research in federated search, information retrieval, information security, and machine learning. He is also an assessor for the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission. He has over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles to his credit. Prof. Ghansah also serves as a reviewer for several journals.
