Dr. Joseph Appianing is a Lecturer in Instructional Design and Technology in the Department of Educational Foundations, University of Education, Winneba. He holds a PhD in Instructional Design & Technology from University of North Dakota, USA, MSc. in Computer Technology from Eastern Illinois University, M.Phil. in Education from Norwegian Teacher Academy. He also holds a Bachelor of Education (Foundations) and Diploma in Economics from University of Cape Coast.
He teaches courses in Introduction to Educational Technology, Courseware Design and Development, and Principles and Practice of Teaching.
Dr. Appianing has worked in various capacities as a Database Administrator, Researcher, and Instructional Designer in the UK and USA.
Dr. Appianing is also known by his involvement in cutting-edge research, the outcome of which can be found in peer-reviewed articles he has published.
