The Department of Integrated Home Economics Education under the Faculty of Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education, University of Education, Winneba, invites the University community and the general public to its 2026 Departmental Fashion Show.

The event will be held under the theme:

“Threads of Excellence: Showcasing Creativity, Culture and Craftsmanship”

The Fashion Show forms an important part of the Department’s practical training in Clothing and Textiles. It will provide students with a platform to exhibit garments designed and constructed as part of their academic coursework while demonstrating creativity, innovation, technical competence and entrepreneurial skills.

The programme will also celebrate the achievements of students, promote fashion education and highlight the contribution of Home Economics Education to national development, skills acquisition and youth entrepreneurship. Through their designs, students will further showcase Ghanaian cultural heritage and contemporary approaches to fashion.
