I am a lecturer in the Department of Counselling Psychology and also a licensed clinical psychologist. My area of specialty is providing evidence based psychotherapy for young people with mental health challenges. I teach undergraduate level courses including Abnormal Psychology, Biological Bases of Behaviour, Developmental Psychology and Counselling Practicum. My research interest is in Child and Adolescent Mental Health with focused on wellbeing among poor and vulnerable populations including children with HIV and invisible disabilities.
I was the Coordinator for Clever Minds, a home tutoring educational network that helps young children with academic issues to enhance their performance in several disciplines, before I joined the University of Education Winneba. I am currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Psychology, University of Ghana, Legon. As part of my PhD work, I am currently exploring mental health outcomes among adolescents living with HIV in Ghana.
