The Department of Assessment and Quality Assurance of ITECPD is in charge of all mentoring activities of the Institute, including the organisation and maintenance of the academic records of students of the affiliated Colleges of Education. It is by far the busiest Department in the Institute, as it is usually engaged in organising workshops and conference marking for the Colleges of Education, affiliated to UEW.  This is due to the peculiar nature of the Academic Calendar of the Colleges of Education.
