Mr. Raymond Amoakwah obtained his first and second degree at the University of Education, Winneba, and he is now a lecturer in the same University. He currently holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Ghanaian Languages studies. Mr. Amoakwah is currently pursuing his terminal degree (Ph.D. in Linguistics) at the University of Ghana, Legon. His research interests are phonology, sociolinguistics, and discourse analysis. Aside from his teaching profession, his knowledge of computer software and hardware installation is very admirable. At the department level, Mr. Amoakwah currently serves as a chairman of the board of departmental seminars for graduate school. He is currently the course coordinator for Introduction to Discourse analysis at the same university. The language club society in the faculty whose agenda is to shape language students' dreams with respect to academics and the future has come to the surface as a result of his endeavor.
