Entry Requirement

An applicant must have:

  1. A research-based master’s degree not below a 3.0 CPA from any recognized University in counselling psychology or related field of study. (e.g., psychology, guidance and counselling, social work, and psychiatry)
  2. Computer literacy demonstrated by ease of use of Microsoft applications, google applications, and at least one data analytic software (e.g., SPSS, nVIVO, MPlus, SAS, LISREL, R, etc)
  3. Three letters of recommendation, with at least one from a person who has been your research supervisor, and one from an instructor.
  4. Writing sample/portfolio.
  5. Personal statement

International applicants:

  1. A research-based master’s degree not below a 3.0 CPA from any recognized University in counselling psychology or related field of study. (e.g., psychology, guidance and counselling, social work, and psychiatry)
  2. Demonstration of English competencies from an institution that conducted instruction in English or an equivalent of 100 and above in TOEFL scores.
  3. Computer literacy demonstrated by ease of use of Microsoft applications, google applications, and at least one data analytic software (e.g., SPSS, nVIVO, MPlus, SAS, LISREL, R, etc)
  4. Three letters of recommendation, with at least one from a person who has been your research supervisor, and one from an instructor.
  5. Writing sample / portfolio.
  6. Personal statement

NB:    Applicants with special needs will be provided with special services to enable them undertake the programme.
