Our Purpose

"To foster and sustain meaningful social connections among retired faculty and staff of the University of Education Winneba, promoting fellowship and continued engagement within the university community".

Aims & Objectives

Maintaining links between retirees and their former employer and facilitating ways in which retirees can contribute to the life of the University.

To support members in various ways, particularly during times of sickness and bereavement.

To promote unity, cordial relationships, mutual respect, understanding, and peace among the retired staff of UEW

Pursuing benefits for members when necessary

To Organize periodically, educational and recreational programmes for members.

Sharing information on issues of particular interest to UEW retirees, eg pensions and benefits

To seek co-operation with other organisations that share similar views both within and outside Winneba.

Advocacy on issues that are of common interest to our members.

Within our limited resources, promoting useful engagements in society by our members

To publicise activities of the association when the need arises.

Talks on health and topics relevant to retirees' well-being
