UEW Chaplaincy Holds Thanksgiving Ceremony and Transfers Leadership
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Chaplaincy on Sunday, 31st August 2025, held the second interdenominational and thanksgiving service for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
The service, held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre was under the theme “But for God.” It also marked the handing over of leadership of the Students’ Chaplaincy Executive Committee.
UEW Library Receives Donations from Industry Partners
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has reiterated its commitment to strengthening partnerships with industry as two of its long-standing suppliers, VED Investment Ltd and FTM donated essential equipment to the University Library on Wednesday, 27th August 2025.
VED Investment Ltd. presented a 65-inch digital satellite LED television with a wall bracket while FTM contributed a modern workstation, both aimed at enhancing teaching, learning and research at UEW.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Chaplaincy Board on Saturday, 16th August, 2025, held a leadership training seminar for executives of religious groups on the Winneba Campus at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room.
The training targeted the 2025/2026 Student Chaplaincy Executive Committee as well as presidents, general secretaries, financial secretaries and prayer secretaries of the various religious associations.
UEW Strengthens Campus Safety with Graduation of New Security Recruits
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) graduated 32 new security recruits following a comprehensive four-week intensive training programme. This initiative was specifically designed to enhance campus safety and to establish a secure environment conducive to academic excellence.
UEW Enhances Exam Integrity Through Training
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), reinforced its commitment to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring credible assessment procedures through a comprehensive training and orientation programme for examination officers, coordinators and graduate studies representatives.
The training, held on Thursday, 28th August 2025, at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room, gathered key stakeholders responsible for ensuring the smooth and transparent conduct of examinations across the University.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) hosted the “Ghana 2025 STEM, Robotics, AI and Computing Summit” with a call for Ghana to embrace science, technology and innovation as the foundation of its educational and national development.
