Department of ICT Education Explores Complex Landscape of Artificial Intelligence and Future Prospects

The Department of ICT Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), recently hosted a thought-provoking seminar on the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sectors.

Titled "The Evolution of Artificial Intelligence in Different Fields: Present and Future Opportunities," the event explored the current applications and prospects of AI, raising crucial questions about its impact on society.

Collection of Academic Gowns for 2023/2024 CODeL Matriculation

The Matriculation Ceremony for 2023/2024 batch of Fresh Students of College for Distance and e-Learning (CODeL) of the University of Education, Winneba is slated for Saturday, 13th April, 2024 at Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus. The ceremony commences at 9:00 am prompt.

Convocation members are entreated to be part of Vice-Chancellor's procession for the matriculation. Therefore, members are to register at the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs (ODSA), Second Floor, Student Centre, North Campus, for their gowns.

PhD Scholarship at the Jiangsu University - China

Management is delighted to announce the availability of full PhD scholarships for qualified and interested staff members of UEW and its affiliated Colleges of Education. These scholarships will cover the entirety of your programme fees (tuition, accommodation, airfare, research grants, etc.) for the approved programme duration, typically ranging from three to four years. The scholarships are available in both English-instructed and Chinese-instructed programmes.

Students of Likpakpaanl Interact with Visiting Members of the Likpakpaanl Speaking Community

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, students of the newly rolled out Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Likpakpaanl Education programme at the Ajumako Campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) were privileged to receive a maiden visit by a section of members of the Likpakpaanl (Konkomba) speaking community. The occasion also served as a productive interactive forum between the visiting team and the students.
