UEW GUSA Games Team Presents Prizes to Management

Team University of Education, Winneba (UEW) for the 28th Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) games, on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2025, presented its awards with a comprehensive report to the University Management, at the Council Chamber of UEW.

The team consisting of 270 athletes and 40 officials, placed third, securing 14 gold, 18 silver and nine (9) bronze medals across all competitions.

SACOST-UEW and Asustem Robotics Partner to Drive STEM Education and Community Innovation

The Centre for School and Community Science and Technology Studies (SACOST) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asustem Robotics Academy to advance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and technology-based community development initiatives across Ghana.

UEW Unveils State-of-the-Art Facility for Play-Based Learning

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in collaboration with Right to Play, a non-governmental organisation has inaugurated a modern facility to enhance play-based learning activities.

The newly established facility, located within the School of Education and Life-Long Learning (SELLL) Block at the North Campus of UEW, boasts executive seats, interactive whiteboards, and a 75-inch television, providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
