UEW Ranked 2nd Best Communications and Public Relations University in Ghana
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is Ghana's second-best communications and public relations university, according to EduRank, an independent metric-based rating organisation, in their 2023 ranking.

Artistic Research Practice Workshop for Postgraduate Students in the School of Creative Arts
The Centre for Research in Culture and Creative Arts invites all postgraduate students in the School of Creative Arts to a two-day workshop on Artistic Research Practice from 13th -14th February 2023 on the theme Doing Arts-Based Research. The workshop is aimed at deepening knowledge, practical understanding and strengthening the research abilities of postgraduate students in Artistic Research Practice also known as Practice-Based or Practice-Led research.

Renewal of Awards for Beneficiaries of Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund, UEW – 2022/2023 Academic Year
It is announced for the information of all beneficiaries of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund of the University of Education, Winneba to submit their Results Slip to their respective Deans of Faculty/School or Study Centre Coordinators for the renewal of their awards. The Result Slip must indicate the calculated CGPA and cover up to the period ending 2021/2022 academic year.
Beneficiaries are to note that, to qualify for renewal of the award, one must maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0.
International Day of Women and Girls in Science, 2023
The Faculty of Science Education in conjunction with the Commonwealth Professional Fellow’s Alumni Community Engagement Fund (ACEF), Women in STEM, Faculty of Science Education, UEW, Lifegate & Effutu Education Directorate is organising training for STEM teachers and mentorship for girls in schools in rural areas. The training is scheduled to take off as follows:
