Call for Applications: Junior/Senior Staff Promotions and Appointments
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) invites applications from eligible staff for the July 2026 Promotion Exercise and appointment to Junior/Senior Staff ranks.
Interested staff should take note of the requirements and application deadlines for the respective exercises outlined below.
1. July 2026 Promotion Exercise for Junior and Senior Staff
Applications are invited from Junior and Senior Staff of the University who are due for promotion.
Requests for Promotion Application Forms should be directed to the Deputy Registrar, Division of Human Resource (DR-DHR). Soft copies of the forms will be sent to applicants who meet the criteria outlined in the Promotion Procedures for Junior/Senior Staff of the University.
Upon receipt of the application form, applicants are required to complete and submit it with the following documents:
- An updated Curriculum Vitae in the UEW format
- Relevant certificates
The respective Heads of Department, Section or Unit will also be required to complete an online Confidential Report Form.
The application process and submission of completed documents must reach the Deputy Registrar, Division of Human Resource, no later than Wednesday, 30th September 2026.
Completed promotion documents submitted after the deadline will not be processed.
2. Appointment to Senior Staff Ranks
Applications are invited from suitably qualified permanent staff of the University for appointment to the relevant Senior Staff ranks.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be confirmed permanent employees of the University
- Have served the University for at least ten years
- Possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognised institution
- Have a clean disciplinary record
- Meet all other requirements for appointment to Senior Staff ranks as stipulated in the Revised Unified Scheme of Service for Senior Staff of the Public Universities in Ghana
Eligible applicants should submit an application letter and an updated Curriculum Vitae in the UEW format, addressed to the Registrar, by Thursday, 20th August 2026.
Staff are advised to carefully review the requirements applicable to each exercise and submit their applications before the respective deadlines.
