Goals/Values

The Department aspires to be a training institution of choice for health administrators in Ghana through training, research and community service.

Aims

The Department seeks to provide the following:

• requisite exposure for students to become good Health Administrators that would be recognised in
• Ghana and internationally for managing health facilities;
• training for students to develop their skills in management in Health Administration

Specific Objectives

The Objectives of the Department are to:

• train students to be administrators in health sector of the healthcare system;
• expose students to understand the operation of the healthcare delivery system of Ghana and elsewhere;
• adept in students leadership and management roles in organisations;
• equip students with professional advice for  the administration of the healthcare and allied facilities and,
• provide students with the requisite training to evaluate the healthcare systems in Ghana and elsewhere.
