USE OF PROXY VOTES – ELECTION OF NEW EXECUTIVE OFFICERS FOR UTAGUEW
A proxy vote can be accepted if the applicant satisfies the following:
- Should be a member of UTAG-UEW
- Two (2) copies of application to vote by Proxy; one (1) to the Chairman of the UTAG-UEW Electoral Commission (Returning Officer) AND one (1) to person nominated to vote on one’s behalf is received.
- Application to vote by proxy should be sent by email to utagec@uew.edu.gh with the SUBJECT “Proxy Vote” or by hand delivery to the Returning Officer who can be contacted on 0244 583 038.
- Application to vote by proxy sent directly by the applicant should reach the specified recipient and the proxy voter at least one (1) day before day of Elections (Tuesday, 8th August, 2023).
- Proxy voters who receive their copies of authority to vote should cross check the receipt of a copy by the Returning Officer at least a day before the elections (Tuesday, 8th August,
2023).
