BA Creative Arts and Design Education
Description
The programme aims at training the required human resource needed for the effective implementation of the new Creative Arts and Design curriculum. It will also concern with training creative thinkers and responsible citizens for cultural and artistic development of Ghana. It is an essential programme for nurturing and empowering creative talents and expressions in Ghana.
Objectives
The programme seeks to:
- develop the creative, perceptual, conceptual, and practical structures which inform the current Creative Arts and Design Education.
- evaluate and consider own practice within a critical context.
- demonstrate professionalism in teaching at pre-tertiary levels of education in the field of Creative Arts and Design.

Entry Requirement
Four categories of applicants will be considered for admission and must fulfill the following minimum requirements of the University.
Category A: WASSCE Certificate Holders
At least six (6) WASSCE credit passes including three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and three (3) electives. Passes in Creative Arts subjects such as Visual Art, Literature-in-English, General Knowledge in Arts, Music and TVET will be an added advantage.
Category B: SSSCE Certificate Holders
At least six (6) SSSCE credit passes including three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies
