Vacation Theatre Camp 2025

The Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Education, Winneba is pleased to announce the Vacation Theatre Arts Camp for the upcoming long vacation. This programme offers intensive yet interactive training in the introductory aspects of performance, including acting, scriptwriting, directing, and TV/film production.

Programme Details:

• Eligibility:
  • Senior High School leavers who meet the minimum admission requirements for UEW
  • Persons who are already in the Theatre/Film industry
  • Anyone who has an interest in Acting Script Development or Performance
  • Persons with the desire to receive basic knowledge in Performance Studies

Duration:

• The camp will run from 1st October - 28th November, 2025.

Award:

• Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate.

NB: Participants meeting the University’s admission criteria may be considered for entry into diploma or degree programmes in Theatre Arts at UEW.

Registration

Applicants should purchase the Registration Form at the cost of Eighty Ghana Cedis (GH80.00) from the Account Office of the School of Creative Arts, UEW, Central Campus.

In addition, applicants who would like to be considered for admission into the regular Diploma or Degree programme in Theatre Arts after the vacation camp should purchase online application forms for 2025/2026 academic year.

Participation Fees

Participants will pay Eight Hundred Ghana Cedis only (GH800.00) to cover the cost of the Training during the Vacation Theatre Camp.
