29th Congregation | Second Session

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), informs the 2024 graduands and the general public that the Second Session of the 29th Congregation will take place in-person from Wednesday, 23rd to Saturday, 26th April, 2025 at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba. The graduands of the College for Distance and e-Learning (CODeL) and the School of Graduate Studies will be awarded degrees, diplomas, and certificates as follows:

  • Dambai, Ho, Denu, Ejisu, Koforidua, Kofi Adjei SHS-Fawoade, Kumasi-AAMUSTED, Kumasi Islamic SHS, Mampong-AAMUSTED, Nkawkaw and Obuasi.           

Friday, 25th April, 2025.
  • Kasoa, Hohoe, Jachie-Pramso, Enchi, Axim, Bechem, Atebubu, Pusiga, Tamale BATCO, Tamale NOBISCO, Wa and Yendi

Saturday, 26th April, 2025.
  • Winneba, Dormaa Ahenkro, Offinso, Sefwi-Debiso, Sefwi-Wiawso, Sekondi, Sunyani, Tarkwa, Navrongo and Techiman.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Graduands who wish to be presented at the upcoming graduation ceremony are required to log on to the UEW website at http://clearance.uew.edu.gh/graduation to complete the registration process. Registration opens on Friday, 11th April, 2025.

ALL GRADUANDS TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

The closing date for registration is THURSDAY, 17TH APRIL, 2025, at 12:00 NOON. NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE REGISTERED WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE CEREMONY. PRESENTATION WILL BE EN MASSE, EXCEPT PhD AND FIRST CLASS GRADUANDS.

Graduands should collect their academic gowns at the HPERS, North Campus, Winneba.

The dress code for the Congregation is formal, e.g., for gentlemen, a tie and a shirt preferably with a jacket. IMPROPERLY DRESSED PERSONS WILL NOT BE PRESENTED AT THE CEREMONY.

There will be mandatory rehearsals for graduands at 3:00 pm each day prior to their graduation ceremony at the venue.

Graduands should be seated at the Congregation Venue by 8:30 am on the date of the Congregation in academic dress appropriate to their Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates.

There will be accredited photographers covering the event and graduands may obtain copies of their photographs at a fee.

Graduands are expected to produce their Clearance Chits and Student Identification Cards or any National Photo Identification Card to collect their Certificates.
