The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has once again demonstrated its exceptional business acumen by qualifying for the grand finale of the seventh edition of the Graphic Business Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC).

The commanding 80.83 to 34.33 semi-final victory over Valley View University (VVU) has earned UEW its third consecutive appearance in the national final of the prestigious competition.

UEW’s formidable team, comprising Ashimi Awudu, Kojo Aaron Fiati, Matilda Appenteng Gyimah and Felix Blay Amoako delivered a flawless performance, outclassing their opponents in every round. The TBSC, jointly organised by the Graphic Business and its partners, is designed to bridge academic theory with real-world business practice. It provides a platform for tertiary students to exhibit critical thinking, problem-solving skills and ethical business strategies while gaining exposure to corporate expectations.

With this decisive victory, UEW will face the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) in the grand finale scheduled for Saturday, 9th August, 2025. The achievement cements UEW’s reputation as a consistent powerhouse in business education, having reached the national final in 2023, 2024, and now 2025.

The TBSC is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG), MTN, PwC, GLICO Life, Peeva Beverages, Papaye, GCB Bank, and Compu Ghana.
