About UEW Counselling Centre

The Counselling Centre plays an important role in supporting the well-being of members of the University of Education, Winneba community. The Centre provides professional counselling services that assist individuals in addressing academic, personal, social, and psychological challenges that may affect their well-being and academic performance.
Through counselling, psychoeducation, and outreach programmes, the Centre promotes mental health awareness, resilience, and personal growth within the university community.
Our Professional Team
The Counselling Centre is staffed by a dedicated team committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of the university community. Our team includes:
- Clinical Psychologists
- Counselling Psychologists
- Administrative Officer
- National Service Personnel
- Practicum Students undergoing supervised professional training
All practicum trainees provide services under the professional supervision of qualified counsellors and psychologists.
