Welcome to the Department of Ewe Education of the University of Education, Winneba. The Department of Ewe Education is a vibrant Department seated in the serene environment of the College of Languages Education (Ajumako Campus) of the University of Education, Winneba in the Central Region. It is the only single Ghanaian Language Department in the University with an enviable student population and the qualify staff strength. It runs undergraduate, postgraduate, and even doctoral programmes in Ewe; a native and official language spoken in Ghana, Togo, Benin, and parts of Nigeria. The Germans produced the autography of the language hence German and French languages are also studied in the Department. The evergreen Ewe Department is known for its higher academic, achievements and other laurels. It excels in the display of tradition and rich culture, quiz competitions, sporting activities, beauty pageants, and exhibition of quality and selfless leadership by students and staff. The serene and healthy relationship between staff and students in the Department forges a strong bond of success towards the enviable achievement of goals.
