Bachelor of Business Administration Human Resource Management

A.   Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

The general requirement for admission of WASSCE and SSSCE candidates to first degree programmes are three (3) credit passes in three core subjects and three (3) credit passes in three elective subjects with a total aggregate of 36 or better.

Table 4.5: Entry Requirement

1. WASSCE Candidates: Minimum Grade of C6 or better in three core subjects (English Language Core Mathematics, Integrated science or Social Studies and any three (3) elective subjects.
2. SSSCE Candidates: Minimum Grade of D or better in three core subjects (English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies and any three elective subjects.

B.  Advance Business Certificate Applicants

Candidates must have passes in at least five (5) subjects with credit passes in English Language, Integrated Science, Mathematics and at least three (3) pas­ses at the Advanced Level, two (2) of which must be at grades not lower than 'D' in the following subjects.

C.   Mature Candidates

1. Applicants should be at least 25 years at the time of commencements of the academic year of admission.
2. Hold teacher’s certificate or GCE/SSSCE/WASSCE certificate or a certificate in professional training in relevant field from a recognized institution.
3.  Applicant must pass MATURE entrance examinations in both the Subject Area Test (SAT) and the General Aptitude Test (GAT).

D.   Post-Diploma and Professional  Applicants for admission to level 200 or 300

1. HND in any business related programmes from a recognised institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower.
2. Any business related diploma from a recognised tertiary institution e.g. Diploma in Business Administration from University of Education, Winneba.
3. Any business related certificate that the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), certifies to be equivalent to a tertiary diploma.
