  5. Description: The M.A French: Translation is an academic as well as a professional programme. The curriculum is offered as a sandwich programme. The programme is demand driven by students with first degree in French with Language/Linguistics, Literature and Teaching/Learning of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) options. It is also offered to train qualified personnel to occupy specialised professional positions in the job market, especially in the teaching and learning of French, as translators

Description: The MPhil French programme is both terminal as well as a first stage towards doctoral studies. The programme seeks to make it possible for the student to develop advanced knowledge of the French language and or French/Francophone literature; equip students with advanced and specialized tools in the art of language and literature teaching; develop the research competence and higher professional skills of teachers of French; and train resource persons who could serve as consultants in the area of teaching and learning of French in Ghana and in the West African sub-region as a whole.

Description: The MPhil French programme is designed to offer holders of Master of Education (MEd) and Master of Arts (MA) an advanced knowledge of the French language and or French/Francophone literature; it also seeks to develop the research competence and higher professional skills of teachers of French; and train resource persons who could serve as consultants in the area of teaching and learning of French in Ghana and in the West African sub-region as a whole.

Description: The aims of the PhD programme is to equip graduates with the requisite academic proficiency and professional competencies and imbue them with humanistic values for the teaching of French at tertiary level, conduct research, disseminate relevant knowledge and skills and influence policies on French Education in Ghana. The programme is also to provide graduate teachers of French with relevant professional skills and up-to-date techniques to teach French at the tertiary level and upgrade/ update their content knowledge.
