UEW Ranked 2nd Best Communications and Public Relations University in Ghana
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is Ghana's second-best communications and public relations university, according to EduRank, an independent metric-based rating organisation, in their 2023 ranking.

In the overall ranking of universities in Ghana, UEW placed 4th out of 67 universities, 54th out of 1,104 universities in Africa, and 2,822nd out of 14,131 universities in the world. UEW scored in the "TOP 50% across 32 research topics".
EduRank uses three criteria to determine the ranking: research output, non-academic reputation, and the impact of five notable alumni. In the area of research output, EduRank’s index identified 10,814 academic publications and 107,510 citations attributed to the UEW.
