A warm welcome to the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship!

Marketing and Entrepreneurship is dynamic and innovative field of study that offers many rewarding career opportunities. Our graduates have access to careers with the potential for significant advancement and income growth, while making a meaningful difference to consumers, organizations, and society at large. It worthy to note that entrepreneurship is more than just an engine of economic growth. It is also a factor that makes communities more vibrant, inclusive, and secure.

Our programmes are designed to expose students to the entirety of the Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and innovation disciplines, while giving students the opportunity to specialize through their choice of electives. Our students participate in group-based project work, international marketing case studies, undergraduate and postgraduate research, professional organizations including the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana and in professional internships that build both their knowledge base and resumes, which in turn makes them more competitive in the world of work. Our Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Master of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Management programmes are well designed to educate, train, and churn out graduates with contemporary marketing and entrepreneurial skills relevant for creating, managing, and functioning effectively in the private and public sectors. The entrepreneurship component of the programmes is a valuable addition to the curricular development to relief the unemployment burden on students, most of whom seek non-existent government employment. Other programmes which have gone through various stages of approval and will soon be offered in our department include MSc. Entrepreneurial Management and Strategy, MA. Political Marketing Management and Strategy, and Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Venture Creation.

Finally, our programmes are designed in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8.3 that enjoins Ghana to stimulate private sector growth to support entrepreneurship and decent job creation in small-and-medium-sized enterprises.

Enroll on any of our programmes and you will be glad you did!

Thank you!
