Introduction

The Department of Educational Administration and Management (DEAM) currently researches into various aspects of educational administration and management. It runs a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration and Management as well as Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership programmes.

Vision

The department seeks to be an academic department of excellence in teaching, research, and leadership in order to assist would be leaders, managers and entrepreneurs of education institutions develop right attitudes, knowledge, skills and competencies for the 21^st century milieu.

Mission

The mission of the department is to lead in socially tailored and market driven programmes that targets personnel from all institutions and organisations with focus in education. These include, the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Police Service, Prison Service, Health and its Allied Services and other Non-Profit Organisations that are into educational leadership, administration and strategic management.
