Entry Requirement

A Distinction or Credit in an accredited certificate programme OR

• Three SHS/GCE Credits passes in the relevant electives (Graphic Design, General Knowledge in Art, Leather Work, Painting, Fashion, Economics, Sculpture, Ceramics, etc.) and at least three D7 or better in English Language, Mathematics and Social Studies or Integrated Science.

• TVET Applicants must have credits in five subjects, comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics and two elective subjects relevant to the programme chosen.

• People with higher qualifications can apply

A. SSSCE Candidates

• Passes (A - D) in six (6) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science OR Social Studies; and A credit in Graphic Design and two (2) other Visual Arts subjects will be an advantage.

Passes (A1 – D7) in six (6) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science OR Social Studies; and

• A credit in Graphic Design and two (2) other Visual Arts subjects will be an advantage.

B. Mature Candidates

• Applicants must be at least 25 years by September 1 of the academic year s/he wants to enrol.

• Must pass a selection interview.

C. Holders of Certificate in Graphic Design

• This category of applicants must have pursued a 1-year Certificate course in Art Education from the University of Education, Winneba or accredited institution

• Must have obtained a credit or better.
