Sectors of the economy available to employ graduates of the MA Communication Instruction programme include:

  • Colleges of Education as tutors of Communication Skills/ Academic Writing and related courses in communication.
  • Publishing Companies as manuscript reviewers and proofreaders;
  • Media Houses as Manuscript editors, journalistic writers and proofreaders;
  • National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) as manuscript reviewers and proofreaders of educational materials.

Entry Requirement

Minimum Qualification for Admission into MA Communication Instruction

(A). To be admitted to the MA Communication Instruction programme, the applicant;

  1. Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the School of Communication and Media Studies, University of Education, Winneba or any other accredited or recognised university.
  2. Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from the University of Education, Winneba or any other accredited or recognised institution.

(B). Foreign applicants from accredited or recognized institutions with equivalent qualifications could also apply. However, such students should have their certificates evaluated by GTEC before they could be considered for admission.
