SoB-UEW Deepens Collaboration with the Teshie Millitary School of Education
A delegation of the School of Business (SoB), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), led by the Dean, Prof. Braimah Awaisu Imurana, has paid a familiarisation tour to the Teshie Military School of Education (TMSE) in Accra. The visit was aimed at interacting with the military high command to explore more possibilities for collaboration in education.
The visit was the first of its kind since the inception of the School’s post-graduate programmes at the camp barely a year and a half ago. The School is seeking to extend its already existing programmes with the TMSE by introducing more career-driven postgraduate programmes for the collective benefit of the two institutions and society at large.
Interacting with a section of the students, the Dean assured them of the School’s commitment to ensuring that they benefit from quality and career-driven postgraduate education from the School of Business. The Dean was accompanied by the Vice Dean, Dr. Richard Oduro, and the Head of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Mawuko Dza. Lieutenant Colonel Hilda Asiedu and Captain Nartey Abel, the officer commanding the School of Education and the officer in charge of School Education (TMSE), respectively, took the delegation round the facilities used for lectures.
Prof. Braimah and his team also paid a courtesy call on the commandant of the Teshie Military Academy, Major General Bismark Kwasi Onwona and the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu.
The SoB-UEW is currently running MBA and MPhil in Accounting, Finance, Development Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing at the TMSE.
