. The Department of Economics Education in the year 2016/2017 has been able to establish a computer laboratory. The computer laboratory currently contains a 25-seater computer available to the graduate students to aid them in learning how to use various statistical software such as STATA, SPSS, Python, R programme to enhance their intellectual capacity, get well-equipped with strong analytical skills and sharpen their economic tools to help address contemporary economic problems in their immediate environment and the global economy at large. As a result, students can enhance their career prospects and also contribute their quota in research as well as recommending policies for economic growth and development of the country and the world at large.
