Entry Requirement
Category A: Senior High School Certificate Holders
The applicant must
- have six (6) WASSCE credit passes (A1-C6) or SSSCE credit passes (A-D), including three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science
- have six (6) WASSCE credit passes (A1-C6) or SSSCE credit passes (A-D), in three of the following courses: Physics, Elective Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, Government, ICT, Management in Living, Food, and Nutrition, General Knowledge in Arts, General Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and Electronics
Category B: Mature Candidates
The applicant must
- be at least 25 years of age by September 1, of the admission year.
- hold Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ or a SHS Certificate.
- pass the University’s Entrance Examination for the year in question.
Category C: Holders of relevant Diploma
The applicant must
- possess a Higher National Diploma in a field relevant to Environmental Health and Sanitation Education from a recognised institution
- pass the University’s Interview
Note: Successful candidates in this category will be placed at level 200 of the Four-Year Degree programme.
Category D: School Certificate/GCE Holders
The applicant must:
- possess five (5) credits at GCE ‘O’ Level, including English Language, Mathematics, and three pure science subjects
- possess two ‘A’ Level passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Note: Applicants with 'O' and ‘A’ Level results more than five (5) years old should apply as mature applicants.
