UEW Renews Pact with NIDA in Bangkok-Thailand
The National Institute of Development Administration, NIDA, Bangkok in Thailand has renewed agreement with the University of Education, Winneba at a ceremony held in Thailand in November, 2016.
The initial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was done in February 2012. The renewal obligates the two parties to be recommitted to fostering an academic relationship that would assist both Universities to exchange faculty and students, to organise and participate in academic seminars and conferences, to participate in joint research on interested topics selected by both institutions as well as foster the exchange of information especially in the areas of teaching plans, teaching methods, and academic publications.
Four staff of the University of Education, Winneba have pursued fully funded PhD Development Administration and Development Economics. Signing the Renewal Document for UEW was the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mawutor Avoke, witnessed by the Registrar, Dr. C.Y. Akwaa-Mensah. Signing for NIDA was the President, Assoc. Professor Dr. Pradit Wanarat, witnessed by the Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Asst. Professor Dr. Kanokkarn Kaewnuch. Source: Media Relations
