UEW CONGRATULATES NEENYI GHARTEY VII ON HIS 20TH ANNIVERSARY AND 60TH BIRTHDAY

The University of Education, Winneba has congratulated Neenyi Ghartey VII on the occasion of his 20th Anniversary as the Oma Odefe and 60th Birthday.

Quantities of assorted items were presented to him at his palace on Wednesday 17th August, 2016.

Presenting the items on behalf of the University, the Deputy Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs, Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete-Mensah congratulated him and asked for God’s Blessings over his life.

Receiving the items, Neenyi Ghartey VII was appreciative of the honour done him.
The Dean, School of Creative Arts, Prof. Mary Dzansi Mcpalm, who was part of the delegation, appealed to the Chief and elders of the traditional area to put aside any differences so as to foster a healthy relationship which would promote growth and development of the community. She requested the Chief to ensure that the youth of the traditional area channel their energies into developmental activities which would promote the name of the community.

Also, present at the ceremony were the Deputy Registrar, Division of Operations, Mr. Alexander Essah and the University Relations and Protocol Services Officer, Mr. Israel E. Fugar.
